DROST, GLENNA MARY - Glenna M. Drost of Fredericton, NB passed away July 11, 2011 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Southampton, NB in 1929, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Ritchie) Dore. Glenna is survived by her children, Elaine Watt (Tom), Tay Creek, NB and Lewis Drost (Pam), Southampton, NB; grandchildren, Shelley, Patti (Don), Troy (Beth), Jason (Elizabeth), Stuart and Alex; twelve great grandchildren, Abriana, Drew, Taylor, Jada, Zachery, Brett, Austin, Bradley, Michael, Marissa, Vanessa and Ivy; sisters, Thelma Marsten, Fredericton, NB and Shirley Dickinson, Rossville, NB; brother, Merrill Dore, Woodstock, NB; sisters-in-law, Aldena Dore and Miriam Drost, both of Southampton, NB, Shirley Drost, Fredericton, NB and Halene Price, Campbell Settlement; brothers-in-law, George Drost (Phylena), British Columbia and Eldon Drost (Beatrice), Newfoundland; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Glenna was predeceased by her husband, Elwood Drost in 1997; two brothers, Medley and Earle Dore.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ryan Farrell officiating, assisted by Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer. Interment in Lenentine Cemetery. A RCL Auxiliary Tribute Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Glenna, the family has suggested the Lenentine Cemetery or the DECH Foundation - Palliative Care Unit.
