Passed peacefully away on Thursday, September 17, 2009, surrounded by his family, James “Ocker” Byrne, age 70 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Elizabeth (Sue) (Godden); sons: David (Nancy) and their son Noah, Peter (Pam) and their children Lauren and Steven, Jeff (Larissa); four sisters: Edna Graham, Mary Kalichuk, Margie O’Toole of Ontario, Florie Albonico (Rudy) of California; sister-in-law Anna Byrne, Ontario, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews, especially Doug Graham (Marlene). Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Joseph Byrne, his brother Fred and loving sister Jean. Upon his request, cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul\'s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday, September 17, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday, September 18 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 19th at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road. Donations in his memory may be made to the Lung Association.
