August 30, 1928 - September 16, 2009. Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Seniors Home, Clarke’s Beach, surrounded and lifted up by her beloved family, Carmel Dodd, formerly of Whitbourne/Markland. Predeceased by her husband Francis (Frank) (July 25th, 1996), daughter Mary Dodd, father Thomas O’Reilly, mother Annie Bishop, sister Rose Goodwin, brothers Tom O’Reilly and Kevin Bishop. Leaving to mourn nine children: Isabel Bell (David), Ada Moreno, Francy Smith (Bub), Geri Dobbin (Andy), Ruth Reid (Bob), Jean Dodd (Norman), Roslyn Brown, Terry Dodd (Elaine), George Dodd; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, also a large circle of friends and extended family. Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., Monday 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service will take place on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Whitbourne. Interment at Anglican Cemetery, Whitbourne.
