We, the family of the late "Donald John MacIntyre" wish to extend a sincere thank you to all our family, relatives, friends and neighbours, those who sent sympathy cards, charitable donations, enrollments, mass cards, prayers, monetary and food donations, on line condolences, flowers and all who telephoned our homes. Thank you! A special than you to pallbearers, cousins, Jimmy Hiltz, Ian and Scott Parsons, sons-in-law, Brian Lahey, Robert Couture and grandson David Couture. A warm thank you is extended to reader Susan Cobanli (niece), Aubrey MacKinnon (brother-in-law), and Margie Parsons (foster sister) for all of their support, the Louisbourg Volunteer Fire Department for the honour guard, staff of Chant's Funeral Home for their compassion and professionalism, the UCW who prepared for the reception following the church service, Reverend Matthew Fillier for his numerous visits and time spent with Donald, support for the family and the wonderful service to celebrate Donald's life. A special thank you to Kenneth MacKenzie, Sheldon Chant and the church choir for sharing their gift of music, Dr.'s G. Myatt, A.F. D'Intino, D.Miller, staff of 4A, 4C, social workers Suzanne Mercer, Janet Parsons, all hearthcare workers who cared in any way for Donald and especially his homes away from home 3B and Harbourstone. To each and everyone who have supported us in any way a heartfelt thank you. Your kindness is appreciated and will always be remembered.
