Joan Clark, 90, of Truro, passed away Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 in The Mira, Long Term Care Centre, Truro.
Born in Salford, England, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Gladys White. She formerly worked at Stanfield’s, Truro. Joan was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by sons Barrie (Marianne), Truro, Paul, Truro; daughters Lynda Babineau, Truro, Pam Fisher (Lee), Coldbrook, Diane Henderson (Brent), Camden; grandchildren Tammy, Angie, Trevor, Brad, Keegan, Troy, Drew, Jesse; nine great-grandchildren; niece Pam.
She was predeceased by her husband Roderick Clark; brothers, Ronnie, Phil; sister, Elsie.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., Monday in Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro. Rev. Gary Yetman will officiate with a reception to follow in the funeral home.
