GILLINGHAM, RUBY VICTORIA (Sloat, Barteaux) -The family of Ruby Victoria Gillingham are saddened to announce the passing of their beloved mother and grandmother. Ruby passed away July 09, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Ruby took great pleasure within her career as a RN after graduating from the Halifax Infirmary School of Nursing and as Administrator of Nursing Homes in NB, NS and La Have Manor in Dayspring, NS. Ruby is survived by her son Charles (Diane), grandsons Theo and Willis and granddaughter Kathleen. Also survived by her companion of several years, Robert Sloat. Ruby was predeceased by husbands Richard Sloat, Robert Gillingham, step son Charles Gillingham and parents Charles and Elsie Barteaux. Thanks to the Dr’s and staff of the hospital with special thanks to Vicki and Nancy for all the wonderful care they have provided Ruby over the past years.
Committal Service will take place at a later date.
