It is with great sadness that the family of the late EDITH KEARLEY of Grand Le Pierre announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Wednesday July 13, 2011 at the age of 90. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons Jordon (Jeanette) of Grand Le Pierre, William (Edith) of Grand Le Pierre, and Mervin of Grand Le Pierre; Daughters Leah (Alfred Foote) of Grand Le Pierre, Dulcie (Edgar Hillier) of Grand Bank, Mary (Edward James) of Grand Le Pierre, Lillian (Harold Hillier) of Grand Bank, and Ruth (Howard Foote) of Rencontre East; Brother Joseph Fizzard; 23 Grandchildren; 39 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband Simeon (1997), Son Abalson, and Parents William & Annie Fizzard.
Funeral Service took place on Saturday July 16, 2011 at 2:00pm from St. Thomas Anglican Church in Grand Le Pierre. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Grand Le Pierre. In Edith’s memory, donations may be made to the Anglican Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman’s Funeral Homes.
