Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General hospital on Friday, September 18, 2009, Margaret Jane Reid of Spaniard’s Bay, aged 88 years. Predeceased by husband Kenneth, parents Walter and Maggie Lundrigan; four brothers Willis, Walter, Howard, Jim, and one sister Elizabeth. Left with fond and loving memories her sons Kenneth (Diane) Reid of Spaniard’s Bay, Randy (son Kyle Reid) of St. John’s. Daughters Elizabeth MacDonald of Brooklyn, Ont., Rosalind (Donald Sparkes) of C.B.S., Beverley (Cyril Forward) of Carbonear, and Kay (Terry Gregory) of Coley’s Point. Brother Clifford Lundrigan of Whitbourne, 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Young’s Funeral home in Spaniard’s Bay. The funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., September 21 at Holy Redeemer Church. Cremation to follow the funeral service with private inurnment at a later date. Flowers not accepted. In her memory donations may be made to the Holy Redeemer Church Fund.
