The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, July 7, 2011, of Kathleen "Kathy" Ramsay, of St. Eleanors, aged 64 years. Born in Little Rock, AR, she was the daughter of George Palmer, Jacksonville, AR, and the late Helen (Smith) Palmer. Survived by her husband Donald Ramsay; children Bonnie (Kenneth) Kicak; Paul (Heather) Squires; Scott (Amanda) Squires; five grandchildren; and sisters Patricia "Patti" and Teresa. Predeceased by her brother Guy Palmer. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Saturday, July 16, 2011, then to Summerside Baptist Church, for funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment in Freeland United Church Cemetery, Freeland. No visiting hours by personal request. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
