Passed away at the Palliative Care Unit, St. John’s, on Wednesday, September 17, 2009, Hilary Fagan, of St. Mary’s. Predeceased by parents Francis & Hannah; brothers: Peter, Sylvester and Michael, sister-in-law Josephine and brother-in-law Ralph Ploughman. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, brother Dr. William Fagan, sisters Loretta (Jeremiah) Barron and Madeline Ploughman, sisters-in-law Elizabeth and Marie; Sean Bowen, whom Hilary considered to be like a son and also a large circle of family and friends, especially Steve Mandville and Jim Stamp. Resting at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Friday, September 18, 2009, from 7-9 pm and Saturday, September 19, 2009, 2- pm; 7-9 pm (no visitation held on Sunday). A vigil to celebrate Hilary’s life will be held on Saturday, at 7:45 pm, at the funeral home. Funeral liturgy to take place on Sunday, September 20, 2009, at 2 pm. at Our Lady of Assumption Church, St. Mary’s. Burial to follow.
