MR. DONALD BAIRD 1925-2021

Its with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our father,
Donald Baird. He passed away at the age of 96 years young
(at heart) in Magog.

Loving husband for 71 years to Irene Butcher Baird. Father to
Patricia (Richard Carriere), the late Charlotte (Ange Emile
Richard), the late Debra Jane, Joyce (Bryan Ruck), Susan (Alan
Barcier) and Dawn (David Taylor). Son of late Philip and Elizabeth,
brother to the late Lawerence (Ida) and the late Marshal (Doris).
Grandfather to 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

A WWll veteran who joined at age 16. He received honours and
medals for his role as a dispatcher during the Liberation of the
Netherlands.
Thank you to the care team on the 6th and Pallitive Care floor at
the La Providence Hospital for making his last days as comfortable as possible.

A small private ceremony will take place this week to celebrate his 96 years of life
with a larger ceremony taking place next spring for his interment at Pine Hill Cemetery in Magog.

We will remember him fondly as a great father and husband with a
sense of humour and that was always up for a party.
