Age 78 years. Passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at the Health Sciences Centre on September 18, 2009. Predeceased by his parents: Harold and Agnes; brothers: Robert, Leslie, and Frank. Left with 54 years of beautiful memories his loving wife, Elizabeth (Neal); son, Craig (Karen); daughter, Tracy (fiance Terry); four grandchildren: Kali, Kyle, Hayley, Zachary; and special pal, Adam; two brothers: Boyd (Dallas) and George (Lynn); four sisters: Rosamund Ryan, Marjorie Bottomley, Deborah Guitard (Charlie), Diane Perry (Nelson); sister-in-law, Marie; brother-in-law, Bruce Neal (Levina); sister-in-law, Dorothy (Neal) Abery and her daughter, Jane (Carl Quinlan); also a large number of other nieces and nephews, family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, Hamilton Ave. Visitation to take place Sunday, September 20 and Monday September 21, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to take place at 11 a.m. at Gower Street United Church on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gower Street Restoration Fund or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center would be gratefully appreciated.
