The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, September 20, 2009, of Mrs. Catherine E. Flynn (nee Lund) of Dorchester Street, Charlottetown, age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. (Joe) Flynn and dear mother of Wayne (Florence), Alan (Catherine) and Don (Helen). She is also survived by her son-in-law John Dunn and lovingly remembered by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her parents Robert and Ellen Lund, son Merrill (Ernestine), daughter Shirley Dunn, granddaughter Debbie Flynn, her brothers James, John, Edward, and her sisters Margaret Mary, Alice, Mildred, Helen and Margaret Noreen. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Tuesday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
