RICHARD, IDA - Memramcook- Ida Richard, of Pre-D’en-Haut, passed away on July 16, 2011, at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital at the age of 74. Born in Pre-D’en-Haut, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Lorette (LeBlanc) Richard. Ida began her teaching career in the NB school system, later pursuing it with the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs. She is survived by her five sisters, Celina Richard, of Pre-D’en-Haut, Genita Richard and Marie Richard, both of Mississauga, ON, Geraldine (Johnny) Campbell, of Valleyview, Alberta and Rosella (late Harold) Bellefontaine, of West Chezzetcook; two brothers, Francis “Frank” (Theresa), of Halifax and Rodrigue “Rod” (Luce), of Moncton; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Edmee “May”, Antoinette and Bella; and by three brothers, Robert, Romeo, Maxime “Mack”.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 Rte. La Vallee, Memramcook on Tuesday, July 19 from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de l’ Annonciation Church, Pre-D’en-Haut, on Tuesday, July 19 at 7:30 pm.
