Passed peacefully away on Saturday, July 16th, 2011 at the Carbonear General Hospital Robert (Bob) Seymour in his 90th year. Predeceased by his wife Gladys 2009, sister Joyce Samuelson Roberts and brother Stephen Seymour. Leaving to mourn daughters Gloria (Don) Peddle and Yvonne (Golden) Saunders, six grandchildren Donald (Diane) Peddle, Derek (Sandy) Peddle, Darrell (Karen) Peddle, Deanna (Jim) Baker, Dana Saunders and Robert Saunders. Twelve great-grandchildren, sisters Gertie (Thomas) Woods, Julia (Bert) Christopher, brother Arthur (Yvonne) Seymour and brother-in-law Gordon Roberts, special sister-in-law Mary (George) Wilhelm and their daughters Caroline and Colleen. Also a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Lynch’s Funeral Home, Spaniard’s Bay. Visiting hours Monday 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday & Wednesday from 10 to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday 10 to 12 noon. Funeral to follow at 2 p.m., Holy Redeemer Church, Spaniard’s Bay and interment at Malltree Hill Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations to Holy Redeemer Church Memorial Fund.
