Passed peacefully away at the Heath Sciences Centre on July 15th, 2011. Cecil Wesley Stockwood aged 87 years. Predeceased by his son Wayne (Ab); son-in-law Melvin Inkpen; parents Allen and Edith (Jacobs); sister Bessie; brothers George (Annie), Clayton, Milton (Patricia), Melvin; brother in-law George Blakeney. Leaving to mourn, wife of 64 years, Jean (nee Sharpe),; daughters Carol O’ Reilly (John, Bedford N.S.), Beverly Inkpen (Paradise); son and best friend Tolson (June Gaulton, St. John’s); daughter in-law Catherine Daley (Goulds); grandsons Todd O’Reilly and great grandson Brandon (Bedford N.S.), Shaun O’ Reilly (Toronto, Ont.), Colin Inkpen and great grand kids, Austin and Katy (Edmonton, AB), James Stockwood (Goulds); sister Evelyn Blakeney (Halifax, N.S.); brother Everett (Mount Pearl); sisters in-law, Alice Stockwood (St. John’s), Edith Stockwood (Ontario), Ruby Kinch, Shirley Madery (Florida), Carmel Sharpe (Paradise); Also many nieces, nephews and friends. At Cecil’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations may be made in Cecil’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
