It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward C. Pardy announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the age of 52 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Goldie and dog Sammy, brothers; Donald (Margaret) of Lyndhurst, Ontario, Wilson (Peggy) of Corner Brook, Gary (Doreen) of Corner Brook, sisters; Cora (Lloyd Wiseman) of Springdale, Brenda (Bud Tabor) of Fort Worth, Texas, Ruth Tizzard of Corner Brook, Marie (Eric Laing) of Pickering, Ontario, Dorothy (Edward Locke) of St. John’s, Dale (Ivan Taylor) of Springdale, mother and father-in-law Frank & Joy Simms of Gander Bay as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Ralph & Myra Pardy and family pet Molly. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, September 21, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Private family service will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA or a charity of one's choice.
