FLETCHER, ALTON JAMES - The death of Alton James Fletcher of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Veterans Health Unit on Sunday, July 17, 2011. Born in Rusagonis, NB, on August 4th, 1922, he was the son of the late Thomas and Eunice Fletcher and the husband of the late Betty Fletcher. He is survived by two daughters, Lynda Hachey and husband David and Lanna Henry and husband Lorne of New Maryland. "Papa" will be greatly missed by grandchildren Craig, (Pauline) Steven (Trista), Graham (Tabatha), Lisa (Len) and Brent (Stephanie); great-grandchildren Brittany, Bailey, Tyson, Denver, Ashley, Jesse, Alicha, Elizabeth and Sydney; brothers, Phillip and Pat; sisters, Marie and Avis and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Leo and sister Minnie. A special thank you the the entire staff of the Veterans Health Unit for the wonderful care of our Dad you will never be forgotten.
