At Stewart Memorial Hospital, Tyne Valley, on Monday, July 18, 2011, of John Arthur Roy Cornish, Tyne Valley, formerly of Summerside, aged 49. Born in Summerside March 8, 1962, John is the son of the late Evelyn Mary (Wheeler) Cornish and Roy (Anna) Cornish, Summerside. Dear step brother to Lloyd Lefurgey, Charlottetown; Jean (Danny) Young, Central Bedeque; Dale Lefurgey (Wendy MacDonald), Summerside and Donna Lefurgey, Summerside. John is also the nephew of Vernon (Pixie) Cornish, Bridgewater, N.S.; Ellen (Fred) Cameron, Summerside; Ken (Bev) Cornish, Summerside; Fairley (Eric) Phillips, O'Leary and Gerald (Burley) Wheeler, Kamloops, BC. Predeceased by his mother, Uncle William and his cousin Kent Phillips. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours Wednesday 6-8 p.m. Funeral will be held on Thursday in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Bloomfield United Cemetery. In memory of John, donations to Stewart Memorial Hospital Foundation or Bloomfield United Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
