Passed peacefully away on Friday, July 15, 2011 at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, Patrick James Connors age 81 years. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Isabelle, brothers John and Jerome and sisters Mary, Nell, Monica and Elizabeth. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley, sons John (Rosalind), Patrick (Debbie) and Fabian (Cathy).; daughters Sharon Groves (Alex), Elizabeth Boyd (Bob), Cathy Whitten, and Madonna Wareham (Jeff); sisters Rita Fitzgerald (Edward) and Theresa Martin; special nephew Dermot MacDonald; twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as the Crowley family. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from St Teresa’s Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
