McSorley, Therese (Trixie) (Marmen) - Therese (Trixie) McSorley passed away July 15th, 2011 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was 89, and was predeceased by her husband of 64 years Holly McSorley, and infant daughter Louise.
She is survived by her six children: Jackie (Robert) Gallie of Wellington Ontario, Rick (Audrey) of Port Hawkesbury, NS, Paulette (Danny) Tonner of Temperance Vale, NB, Patrick of Victoria, BC, Peter (Pam) of Prince Rupert, BC, Tom (Tina) of Ottawa, Ontario, eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A beloved mother, Trixie especially enjoyed family gatherings, and also loved playing cards, line dancing, and going for walks. Funeral will take place at Saint Samuel’s Catholic Church in Douglastown on August 23rd, 2011. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Trixie’s memory.
