RYAN, Mabel Theresa (nee Hayden) — Born December 1st, 1926 in Petite Forte, Placentia Bay. Mabel passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Friday, November 21st, 2008 embraced by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Bridget and James Hayden; infant brother James; brothers: Vince and Gerard; sister Mary and niece Ann Marie. She leaves with many special memories, her beloved husband of almost 54 years, Anthony; one son David Ryan (Susan); three daughters: Mary Jamie Brown (Ed); Terri Ryan (Bernard Potvin); and Jean Ann Westcott (Tony); nine grandchildren: Stephen and Melissa Brown; Michael and Jordan Ryan; Emily and Isabelle Potvin; and Laura, Ryan and Mark Westcott; sisters: Madeline Power (Vince) and Jean Power (Al, deceased); as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday from 7-9 p.m., and Sunday and Monday from 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 25th, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road.
