BURSEY, Alice Marie — Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. L.A. Miller Centre after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, November 22,2008 aged 85 years. Predeceased by her loving husband, William C. Bursey, her parents, Thomas and Margaret Fitzpatrick, infant son John, grandson Ryan Bursey, sisters, Theresa Sullivan, Rita Donnelly and Genevieve Newell. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children, Lorraine (Wilson) Andrews, Albert (Joanne), William (Bev), Edward (Glenda), Janet (Fred) Martin, Margaret (William) Ternan, Keith, Kathy (Lorne) Messervey, Anita (David) Tucker, Thomas (Karen), and Gregory, nineteen beloved grandchildren and eight beloved great grand-children. Also leaving to mourn brother Bernard (Louise) Fitzpatrick, sisters-in-law, Marjorie Martin, Rita Bursey and Margaret (Peg) Bursey. Also, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday and Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas of Villa Nova Church, Manuels on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
