August 29, 1927 - July 20, 2011. Passed peacefully away at his home in Fox Harbour, P. Bay in the presence of his friend and Caregiver Michael Howe, on Wednesday July 20, 2011 James King, age 83 years. Predeceased by his mother and father James and Bridget, brothers Francis, Peter, William and sister Josephine (King) Baker. He leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces and nephews special niece Rose Brooks. He will also be greatly missed by dear friend and caregiver Michael Howe, who was always there for him, Michael showed him much care and kindness during his illness. Also special "thank you" to Frances and Pete Duke for your many acts of kindness. He looked forward to your visits, and "thank you" to his many friends for your love, prayers and support during your visits. You brightened his days. Cremation has taken place, no visitation by request. Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church, Fox Harbour on Saturday July 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
