CURTIS, GARY RONALD - The passing of Gary Ronald Curtis of Douglas, NB, occurred on Sunday, July 17, 2011, at home. Born on June 18, 1950 in Miramichi, NB, he was the son of the late Henry and Leola (McNeill) Curtis. Gary enjoyed welding, repairing things for other people, western movies, trying to play the guitar and will be remembered for teasing everyone. Gary is survived by his niece, Kathlene Rickard of Pepper Creek, NB; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Randy.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 7 to 9 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 3 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Dayton Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Fredericton SPCA.
