We, the family of the late Alma Marie (Jessome) Jerrett would like to express our sincere thanks to our families, relatives, friends, neighbours and co-workers for the support we received following the sudden loss of our wife, mother, sister and friend. To all those who phoned, visited, sent food to our homes and travelled from afar we offer our heartfelt thanks. We also extend gratitude to all those who sent sympathy cards, donations to the St Pius X Roof Fund, monetary gifts, flowers and online condolences. For those who attended the visitations and the funeral mass at St Pius X Parish celebrating Alma’s life; your comforting words and presence helped ease the pain of our loss and will never be forgotten. To all of the participants in the funeral mass: Father Ajit Kerketta, Father Patrick O’Neill, Father J.J. MacDonald and Father Conrad Edwards for their beautiful and inspirational mass, eucharistic minister Norma Blinkhorn, gift bearers Ciara and Katie Jerrett, readers Lauren Jerrett, Michelle Lynch, and Tammy Laffin, John and Patti Fukula and Belinda Gillis for their wonderful music and beautiful eulogy by Cathy Halliday. We are also very grateful and would like to extend thanks to pallbearers Seward Slade, Michael Hilliard, Dwayne Laffin, Robbie Mansfield, Shawn Selfridge and Darrell Jerrett. Special thanks goes out to the St Pius X CWL who provided a luncheon, tea and coffee at the reception and to Northside Security. A very special gratitude goes out to Dr Peter Poulos, Dr. Dale Miller, staff of Cape Breton Regional Hospital and the ICU. Finally, we’d like to offer our sincere thanks to Manning Jobes and staff at Jobes Funeral Home for your professionalism and kindness. You went above and beyond. Thank you all.
