WALLACE, Donald Alexander December 1, 1923 - July 11, 2011 - Don passed away peacefully, after a short bout with cancer, on July 11, 2011. He was surrounded by his family. Don is survived by his best friend and wife June (nee McLaughlin), his six sons, one daughter, fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Don was also a treasured brother-in-law to Joyce & Wilfred (Buzzy) Whynot of Mill Village and will be remembered with fond memories by his Nova Scotia nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and one grandchild. Don, originally from Brooklyn, Queens County, Nova Scotia went to Alberta where he settled down to raise his large family and work at the trade he enjoyed. Don was involved in his community mainly through the legion. He will be remembered with love and respect by all who knew him.
