MICHAUD, SIMONNE - Mrs. Simonne Michaud, 87, wife of the late Michel Michaud, passed away peacefully at Shannex Parkland Thomas Hall, Fredericton, NB, on July 21, 2011. Born at Drummond, NB in 1924, she was a daughter of the late Narcisse and Emelie (Mongeon) Moreau.
She will be sadly missed by her six children: Bernadette; Cyril; Julien (Janet); Ivan; Roger (Sea) and Robert (Natasha); nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa, Catherine, Michael, Amanda, Christy, Chelsey, Mathew and Briana as well as three great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters and brothers: Albert (Therese), Joseph, Drummond; Robert, Grand Falls; Azilda Bard (Edgar), Drummond; Carmella Willett, Perth-Andover; Gemma Marquis, Elington, Connecticut, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Gerard, Ludger and Gilbert Moreau and sisters Antoinette Parent, Georgette Goslin and Rita Thibodeau.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Monday, July 25th from 2 to 4 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Monday, July 25th at 4:15 p.m. from the Saint-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond with interment in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. www.oregans.ca
