OSMOND, Elizabeth Augusta (Gussie) (August 7, 1917 - November 23, 2008) — Passed away peacefully at age 91 in the presence of family and friends on November 23, 2008. She is survived by brother Nicholas, sister-in-law Patricia Osmond (Baden -deceased), her loving nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends. Aunt Gussie will be waked at Caul’s Funeral Home in St. John’s. Visitation at 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday and Tuesday. Funeral Mass of Christian burial at St. Patrick’s Church November 26 at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to the Leonard A. Miller Centre PCU (Palliative Care Unit) in St. John’s.
