The death occurred suddenly at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, of Raymond Joseph MacDonald of Summerside, and formerly of Montague, P.E.I., aged 64 years. Raymond was born on May 31, 1945, in New Glasgow, N.S., to his late parents, John Dan and Alice (nee Anestie) MacDonald. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty-Lou (nee Razavet) MacDonald, his loving children, Vanda MacDonald (Randy Hazel) and Stephen, all of Summerside, his grandchildren, Tanner and Dylan Murchison, and the following brothers and sisters: Geraldine (Camille) Morris, Harry, Kenny (Margie), Eugene (Hazel), Vernon and Leonard (Debbie). Also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Raymond was predeceased by his inlaws Elizabeth “Sis†and Ralph Razavet and his sister-in-law, Beverly MacDonald. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Saturday, Sept. 26th, 2009, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. No visiting hours by personal request.
