Entered into rest July 18th, 2011 at the Bonavista Health Care Centre, Bonavista, Mary Elizabeth Barker (nee Meaney), from Open Hall, aged 89 years. Predeceased by parents Marie and Patrick; sisters Veronica and Rose; brothers John, Fabian, Alex, and Augustus; daughter Josephine; son Brendan. Leaving to mourn sons Ron (Hannah), Brian (Patricia), daughter Glenda, and sister Margaret (Andrew Lannon). Sadly missed and much loved by grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rested at the Roman Catholic Church, Open Hall from where the funeral service, officiated by Father David Joy took place on July 22nd, with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy’s Funeral Home, Random Island.
