It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of James Harris, from Bloomfield, age 77 , at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on July 18, 2011. Predeceased by parents, Moses and Martha; daughter, Karen; brothers, Rex, Bob, and Isaac. Leaving to mourn with many fond and wonderful memories are his wife of 54 years, Dora; children, Christine (Mark), Maureen (Ron), Debbie (Kerry), Jim (Angela); son-in-law Wayne Henry; grandchildren, Justin (Karlie), Kaitlynn, Melissa (Jason), Cassandra, Jillian, Christopher, Connie (Justin), Christopher (Nicole); great grandchildren, Nathan and Marcus; sisters, Edna and Blanche; brothers, Lindsay and Harry and their families and other relatives and friends. Rested at the Salvation Army, Lethbridge, from where the funeral service, officiated by Captain Reid Colbourne and Major Phyllis Blundell- Colbourne took place on Thursday, July 21, 2011 with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy’s Funeral Home, Random Island.
