Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, with her loving family by her side Mabel Emma Tulk, after a courageous battle with cancer, 2 days after her 66th birthday. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Mahala Gosse; her brothers: Harry, Ed and Frank. Left with fond and loving memories are her loving husband of 43 years Gerald; her two daughters: Kim Decker (Delano) and Lisa Powell (Robert); her five precious grandchildren: Courtney, Bethany, Robert, Daniel and Marcus; her sisters: Pearl Brinston (Aubrey - deceased), Jean Goodyear (Ned), Gwen Osbourne (Herb - deceased), Sylvia Gilbert (Fred), Phyllis Noseworthy (Max - deceased), (John Bradbury) and Rita Greiner (Mike - deceased); brothers: Karl Gosse (Gladys) and Robin Gosse; sisters-in-law: Dulcie Gosse, Bella Gosse, Whilemena Gosse, Mary Woolridge, Jean Tulk and Madeline Tulk; brothers-in-law: Bill Tulk and Stan Tulk; also leaving to mourn her two special nieces: Tina Anthony and Sylvia Gosse; as well as a dear friend of 41 years Mollie O’Brien (Joe). Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Thursday from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Philips Anglican Church, St. Philips. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Logy Bay Road.
