James "Jimmy" Higgins
We, the family of the late James Higgins, who passed away on February 27, 2009 at the Cape Breton Health Care Complex, Glace Bay, wish to express our thanks to relatives, friends and neighbors for their kindness and expressions of sympathy during our time of sorrow. We gratefully acknowledge all who sent cards, e-mails, memorial donations, calls, attended the memorial service and who visited Jim during his illness. Thanks to Fr. Andrew Gillis, St. Eugene's Church, Dominion for the lovely Memorial Service, the Choir and special thanks to Annabel Thompson for arranging the readings and the Ladies Auxiliary for the beautiful luncheon after the service, also the Hawks Club for the Honor Guard. Thanks to the Cape Breton Health Care both in Sydney and Glace Bay, Palliative Care and the Cancer Centre. Also thanks to all the many Doctors and Nurses, Dept. of Health, Home Care and the Red Cross who looked after Jim during his illness. A very special thank you to Jim's sister Marion who donated the beautiful headstone. To John and Shawn of McLellan Brother's Funeral Home for the personal and professional attention with which they handled the arrangements and who went above and beyond. May God's Blessing be with you all.
