COCHRANE, LAWRENCE – 79, of Parrsboro, Cumberland Co. passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Medley and Gertrude (MacAloney) Cochrane. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, the former Rose Quinn; sons, John, Truro; Jason (Jennifer), Lower Sackville; adopted daughters, Susan and Karen Cochrane; a sister, Eileen Cochrane, New Minas; Clayton, New Minas; Sydney (Eleanor), New Minas; brother-in-law, Hilbert Fisher, New Minas; a granddaughter, Abbigail Cochrane, Lower Sackville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie. A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 2 pm in St. George’s Anglican Cemetery, Parrsboro, Rev. Tory Byrne officiating.
