It is with great sorrow that the family of Vivian Shiela Aupperle (Banting) announce she passed away at home peacefully on July 25, 2011 at the age of 71.
Shiela was born to Milton and Helena Banting in North Battleford, Saskatchewan on Sept. 28, 1939. Second of six children, she grew up on a farm near Highgate, Saskatchewan. After graduating high school at the age of 16, she went to work at Household Finance Company before marrying Reg Aupperle on Nov. 28, 1958 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. After raising children in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and Dauphin Manitoba, the family moved back to Saskatoon where she opened a ceramic business. Shiela and Reg retired in 1999 and moved to the resort village of Mistusinne Saskatchewan.
Shiela is survived by her husband Reg, her children Milton, Reggie (Judy), Brent and Margret (Shane), her siblings Shirley (Bill), Margaret (Wayne), Sandra, Duncan and Albert, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A private service will take place at her home in Mistusinne Saskatchewan on July 30, 2011.
