Velma Gagné
April 28, 1945 – July 26, 2011

Velma Gagné passed away peacefully on July 26, 2011 at Victoria Hospital with family by her side. Velma is survived by her children Arlene (Robert) Randall, Bonny (Mel) Sanderson, Michelle (Tim) Schmidt and Terry (Jodi) Jenkins; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; her brother Orville (Alma) Gunville; and her brother-in-law Ken Brakefield. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Jessy-Leigh Plaskitt-Atkins; her parents Victor and Alexina Lucier; her sisters Delores Davison and Diana Brakefield; her brother Gordon Lucier; and her brother-in-law George Davison. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 1505 – 13th Street West, Prince Albert, SK at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2011 with celebrant Reverend Father Travis Myrheim. Interment will be held at South Hill Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be sent to Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9.
