FLOYD SUFFERN
It is with saddened hearts that we, the children of Floyd Suffern, share the loss of our deeply loved dad after a lengthy struggle with early onset Alzheimer's disease.
A long time resident of Sherwood Park and former Alberta Government employee, dad passed away in Kamloops, BC while under the loving care of Ridgeview Lodge. Our loss is Heaven's gain...he is free.
We rejoice in the knowledge that he is reunited with his beloved wife, Joan Ann, who predeceased him in 1980.
Honoring his memories and his life are his children, Randall, Richard, and Patricia, his cherished grandchildren, Oliver, Tabitha and Jory, his brother Jim, sister Irene, nieces Shannon and Karna, nephews Kelly, Kevin and Joel.
Floyd is also survived by his second wife Sharon, her children and her grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, August 1st, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sherwood Park Log Cabin at 50 Spruce Avenue with Margaret Robinson, Celebrant.
As a testament to this life well loved, please consider a donation of time or funds to the Alberta Elder Abuse Network, share a hug with your kids or spend a quality moment with a lonely senior.
