Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on July 26, 2011, Elizabeth Rachel Cross, aged 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Ernest; sisters: Laura Trowbridge, Evelyn Hamilton, Ida Butler and Olive Batten; and brother Heber Brown. Left with fond memories are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral Service to take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2011 from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
