Age 84 years, born on Bell Island, passed away on September 18, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s. Predeceased by daughter Donna Agnes Perry Burnham. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 60 years Elizabeth Agnes; his three sons: Gordon Jr. (Barbara), Bruce (Lynn), Kirk (Amanda) and his daughter Anne Blake; his grandchildren: Joy (Steve), Rachel Blake, Melissa and Shawn Perry; great-grandchildren: Sera Blake, Will and Jack Drover; sisters: Marjorie Rees, Phyllis Bursey, Dorothy Werth and brother Bruce Perry (Hanna), Ontario; sisters-in-law Helen Perry and Lillian Warford. A special thank you to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre, Dr. Trahey, the residents in the ER and the nurses on 5 B South. A special thank you to Debbie Butt and Beth Anne who showed so much love and compassion to all of us. A special thank you to Reverend Scott Parsons who was with the family thru all of this and to Reverend Canon Howard Hynes, both who were with the family for a private service. Cremation took place at Carnell’s Funeral Home on September 20, 2009.
