Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on September 25th, 2009, William Eden Lindsay of Paradise in his 91st year. A veteran of WW II with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Predeceased by the love of his life, Eileen in 2002. Leaving to mourn his son Bill (Joyce), Halifax, NS; daughter Heather, Paradise, NL; “adopted” daughter Margaret Price; sister Elizabeth Palmer, PEI; nephews: David Alcock (Gwen), Bill Alcock (Marliese); sisters-in-law: Shirley Tucker and Marjorie Andrews; other relatives and friends. Also sadly missed by furry friends Buffy and Roxie. Cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place from Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, September 29 and Wednesday, September 30th from 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, October 1st, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from The Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment at the family plot in St. Cyprians Anglican Cemetery, Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations to a charity of one's choice.
