A former employee of Chancellor Park Nursing Home passed suddenly but peacefully away at her residence on Friday, September 25, 2009, Marguerite Kearney, aged 64 years. Predeceased by her father William Bemister, mother Lulu (nee Harvey); mother-in-law Adell Kearney; brother-in-law Reg Squires. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Blake; father-in-law Howard Kearney; brothers Bill (Jean) and Len (Phyllis); sisters Annie Squires, Josie Lawlor (Bob), Ruby Chafe (Dave), Ada Bemister, Phyllis Shriendofer (Gerry), Rose Smith (Max), Bess Rideout (Wallace) and Beverley Bemister; sisters-in-law Lisa Kearney, Gwen Kearney (Todd Paddle) and Cheryl Kearney (Chris Keats); brother-in-law Howie Kearney (Andrea), as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Sunday, September 27, from 10-12 noon, 2-4 and 7-9 and Monday, September 28 from 10-2. Cremation will follow visitation. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Tuesday, September 29 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
