Born August 23, 1928 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, daughter of the late Raymond and Laura (Barnes) Manning. Died September 15, 2009 at the Montreal General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Allen Hanley and their daughter Janet. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends, her children Margaret, Raymond, Barbara (Pierre Timotheatos), Rosemary and David, her sister Mary Elisabeth Clancy (Cyril), and her many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass was held on Friday, September 25th at 2 p.m. at The Ascension of Our Lord Parish, in Westmount, Quebec.
