It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald Rowsell announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on July 28, 2011 at the age of 62 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Sarah Rowsell, daughters: Kathy (John) Hrisook of Saskatchewan, Anita Rowsell (Lee Bennett) of Corner Brook, NL and Trina Green Rowsell of Corner Brook, NL, son Laurie (April) Green of Prince George BC, grandchildren: Angela Rowsell, Samantha Rowsell, Michael Rowsell, Taylor Green, Sarah Green, Katrina Hrisook, Sophie Hrisook, Jagger Green and Brody Green, niece Carla Brake and nephew Peter Brake. He is predeceased by mother Irene Rowsell, father Norm Thistle and grandmother Debera Rowsell. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday July 29th 2011 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the Roman Catholic Cathedral, Mount Bernerd Avenue on Saturday July 30th 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment to take place at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Flowers graciously accepted or donations can be made to a charity of of one’s choice.
