We the family of Mary Elizabeth MacDonald announce her peaceful passing Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009.
For the past five years, she was a resident of Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility.
Born in MacAdam’s Lake, Mary E. was the daughter of the late Janie Currie.
Mary was a member of St. Mary’s parish, East Bay, and the CWL. She also enjoyed playing cards and music and Gaelic speaking.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Annie; and three sons, Joe, Hughie and Michael; five grandchildren and eight great-granchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew and her son, Michael Gregory.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 29 at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in St. Mary’s Church with Rev. Frank Abbass officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
Donations may be made to the St. Mary’s Renovation Fund or charity of one’s choice.
