Anita Marie Marshall, 50 of Eskasoni, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Irene (Paul) Marshall.
Anita enjoyed playing cards, bingo, singing, nature, walks in the woods and furthering her education.
She is survived by her companion, Roger Lafford; daughters, Jennifer Marshall, Irene Poulette, Vanessa Morley, Cecilia Morley, Tamara Morley, Shereen Morley; son, Bradley Marshall; sister, Mary Theresa (Martin) Cremo; brothers-in-law, David Poulette and Levi Poulette; grandchildren, Riley MacDougall, Carter MacDougall, Jean Poulette, Glenna Poulette, Keandra Poulette; godparents, Grace Sylliboy and Levi Poulette; godchildren, William Cremo and Claudia Joe.
She was predeceased by sisters, Jean Catherine Poulette and Judina ‘Sutik’ Poulette; brother, Angus Marshall and nephew, Stephen Poulette.
Visitation for Anita Marshall will take place after 7 p.m. Monday, August 1 at 80 Anslum Rd., Eskasoni. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 3, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church with Rev. Martin MacDougall officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.
