Following a courageous battle with cancer, the death occurred at the King's County Memorial Hospital on Saturday, July 30, 2011, of Charles Alexander Morrison of Montague, age 73. Beloved husband of Jean, loving father of Anne (Rick) MacLean, Kevin Morrison, Darlene (Neil) Lawless, Wayne (Carol) Morrison, Lynn (Steve) Montegomery. Grandfather of Cole and Hannah MacLean, Lauren & Ryan Lawless, Brittany (Dean) MacDonald, & Amanda MacLean, Madison, Mia, & William Montegomery. Also survived by brother Aeneas (Heather) Morrison, and sisters, Margaret (Richard) McInnis, Eunice (Cecil) Hughes, Patsy Laybolt (Harry). Claire (Joe) McCarron, Laura Clarkson. Predeceased by parents John Dan and Anna Morrison. Resting at Southern King's & Queen's Funeral Home, Murray River for private family wake on Monday August 1 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Tuesday, August 2, from St. Mary's Church, Montague at 10:30 am.
