MONTAGUE, ROBERT - The death of Robert William Montague of Saint John East, husband of the late H. Louise (Wilson) Montague occurred on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born October 20, 1931 in Saint John, NB he was a son of the late George and Cecelia (McNulty) Montague. Robert is survived by a son Bob (Elizabeth) of Saint John, brother Donald (Hughena) of New Market, ON, sister Joan Montague of Toronto, ON, granddaughter Kelsey Montague, and several nieces and one nephew. Besides his parents and loving wife, he was predeceased by brothers James, William, Gerald, Richard Montague and a sister Judy Montague. Robert worked for C N C P Telecommunications for many years as an office clerk. Robert loved nature, getting outdoors for his walks and working in his gardens.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visiting hours on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 3 to 7 pm. Memorial Graveside will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
