It is with sadness that the family announce the death of Pauline Marie Hibbs on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at the Glace Bay Health Care Facility.
Born in Glace Bay, Pauline was the daughter of Lena and the late David Peterson.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Brian; daughter, Melissa (Ryan); son, Travis and her special granddaughter, Shaylee. Also surviving are brothers, David (Diane), Glace Bay, Bill (Joyce), Birch Grove, Emerson (Gizelle), New Waterford; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Pauline will be held at Patten Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. in Patten Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Matheson officiating. Interment will be at Black Brook Cemetery, Port Morien.
Donations in Pauline’s memory may be made to the Diabetes Association.
