CARDWELL, J. Robert (Bob) – Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, in the presence of his family on Thursday, November 27, 2008, Bob Cardwell, member of Branch 56 and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Archbishop Howley Terra Nova Council, age 82 years. Left with fond and loving memories, wife Laura; sons: Edward (Ted) (Brenda) and James (Evelyn); daughters: Laura Piercey (Steve) and Marilyn Thompson (Glenn); brother Ron; sister Joyce Mercer (Clarence); grandchildren: Adam, Emily, Krista, Andrew, Jeff (Brandi), Matthew, Danielle, Sheldon (Paige), Stephen, Tiffani and Kyra; two great-grandchildren: Hayleigh and Taryn; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Friday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. ;- 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, December 1, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to St. Patrick’s Church or the Gathering Place.
